What is Atlanta Daybook?
Daybook is a place to for Atlanta’s communicators to share news. It is an easy and effective way to send press releases, make announcements and promote events among local professionals through our daily email edition and online press releases.

Who reads Atlanta Daybook?
Thousands of Atlanta journalists, PR and marketing professionals, business and civic leaders make up Atlanta Daybook’s subscriber list.

How do I access Atlanta Daybook?
It is free to read via our daily email edition, and all new releases are accessible on our website at any time at www.atlantadaybook.com. Sign up to start receiving our daily email now.

How does it work? If you’d like to post your news, simply become a contributor here. Sign in and purchase as many credits as you’d like (1 credit = $1), and follow the online press release submission steps for the dates you choose.

Once your story is submitted and approved, it will be a part of the email edition for the specified day(s), and live online on its own Full Story page to which you can easily link from other places, share to your social networks, etc.

How much does it cost?
Daybook is free to read. Distributing your news on Daybook starts at $40 per publish date depending on the prominence and type of press release you choose. Multiple release packages and plans can be purchased for your campaign needs, and we have special rates for non-profits and “green” news stories! See Pricing for details.

How do I place a story on Daybook?
Create a Contributor account and purchase as many credits as you’d like (1 credit = 1$). Add credits from your Control Panel using any major credit card – credits for stories you run will simply be deducted from your balance. To submit a new story:

  • Choose “Create a new story campaign” under My Stories and select the type you’d like to run (Flagship, Feature or Text only) and publish date(s) of your news.
  • Upload your logo and/or image(s) and fill in contact information fields.
  • Fill in the story fields with your headline, teaser, body, and other information text.
  • Preview & submit your story for approval, or go back and make revisions as necessary.

Stories must be submitted by 5 p.m. EST the day prior to the desired publish date (and by 5 p.m. Friday for the following Monday’s edition).

Can I have links in my Daybook story?
Yes! Building the number of links to your website is important for SEO. Daybook’s domain has a PageRank of 5 and is full of fresh content, so inbound links to your site from a story are valuable and can help your SEO over time.

Insert hyperlinks in your story (up to three) through the hyperlink button in story fields. (Don’t forget to link to your social media profiles too.)
